Why this formula
What sets it apart
A BHA + AHA cleanser on a barrier-safe surfactant system — Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid do the active work, while phospholipids and sphingolipids help make sure skin doesn’t pay for it.
Zero-compromise surfactant system
Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Decyl Glucoside, and Cocamidopropyl Betaine — a mild amino-acid and plant-derived trio that cleans without stripping barrier lipids.
Functional BHA + AHA levels
Salicylic Acid at 2% and Glycolic Acid at 1% work together in a rinse-off format — meaningful active concentrations, not a token acid mention on the label.
Repairs while it cleanses
Phospholipids and Sphingolipids actively replenish the skin’s lipid barrier during cleansing, so clarity doesn’t come at the cost of comfort.

Ask the mechanism questions
Diagnosis-first answers about use, layering, and whether this formula fits your concern.
Are my breakouts a cleanliness problem?+
Usually not. Congestion and oil dysregulation sit inside a barrier that harsh cleansers often worsen. This cleanser uses functional 2% BHA + 1% AHA with mild surfactants and phospholipids — clear without strip. Acne literacy.
Why list acid percentages on a rinse-off cleanser?+
Because token acid mentions are common. Salicylic Acid at 2% and Glycolic Acid at 1% are functional rinse-off levels with a clear mechanism — oil-soluble inside the pore, water-soluble on the surface.
How often should I use it?+
Once or twice daily. If skin feels tight, drop to once daily, moisturise well, and avoid stacking more acids the same night.
Can I use it with the Niacinamide serum?+
Yes — cleanse first, then serum. That is the intended Project Skin sequence. Introduce one change at a time if your barrier is reactive.
